  14. Chess pie is an old southern dish. If  you want tarts, use little bitty
  15. pie shells. Here's a good recipe:

  17. 1 stick butter
  18. 1 1/2 c. sugar
  19. 1 Tb. flour
  20. 1 1/2 tsp. vinegar
  21. 3 eggs
  22.  
  23. Melt butter, add all other ingred. and mix well. Pour into unbaked pie crust
  24. and bake @350 for 35 minutes.
